Sundog

An iPhone app for the unu Scooter Pro on Sunshine. It shows the scooter's state, batteries and range, and unlocks it with a hold.

Unlocking

  1. Hold the button for a second.Letting go early cancels. Nothing is sent until the ring is full.
  2. Sundog sends the command once.It is never queued or retried in the background.
  3. The screen changes when the scooter reports it.Until then it says it's waiting.

What to expect

Data shows its age. A parked scooter reports about every 30 minutes, so Sundog says how old each value is and greys out stale ones.

Commands need a hold. Unlock, lock and opening the seat are never sent on launch, from a widget, or as a retry.

What you need

An unu Scooter Pro connected to Sunshine, and a personal API token from Sunshine › Account › Developer tools. Sundog has no account of its own and no analytics. Privacy.
