What Sundog collects
Nothing. Sundog has no servers of its own and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
Who Sundog talks to
- Sunshine (sunshine.rescoot.org), the service your scooter is connected to. Sundog reads your scooter's state, rides and places and sends the commands you deliberately trigger. Sunshine's own privacy policy applies to that data.
- Apple Maps for maps, addresses and walking times.
On your iPhone
- Your Sunshine sign-in (token) is stored in the iOS Keychain.
- The last scooter state, rides and settings are cached on the device so the app and its widgets open instantly. Signing out deletes them.
- Your location is used only while Sundog is open, to show how far you are from your scooter and to point you to it. It is not stored or sent anywhere.
